- Welcome #RDDC and #FDS Familianz! You are now tuning in to #HeckvsHell Ep. 88, #FaceValueFaith...
Faith...
It's a word we've all heard, spoken and even claimed to have. But what does it truly mean to believe? Is faith simply hoping things work out, or is it trusting God's Word enough to take Him at face value—even when your circumstances seem to say otherwise?
#FaceValueFaith explores the difference between living from doubt and living from divine expectation. Too often, we allow fear, past disappointments, cultural opinions and limiting beliefs to speak louder than God's promises. We begin negotiating with what God has already declared, convincing ourselves that His blessings, purpose or abundance are meant for someone else instead of believing they are available to us through faith.
This isn't about ignoring reality or pretending life doesn't have challenges. It's about renewing your mind, aligning your thoughts with God's truth and learning to walk in faith before you ever see the evidence. Throughout this episode, we reflect on biblical examples, personal experiences and the importance of allowing belief—not fear—to shape the decisions we make every single day.
Sometimes the greatest obstacle isn't what's standing in front of us... it's the thoughts we've allowed to stand within us.
That, is #FaceValueFaith…

What's going on, everybody? Welcome back to another episode of Heck versus Hell, where the truth we tell. That is correct. That is right. We are here. We are back. Welcome to everyone that is listening. OG listeners and new listeners. Welcome to the World Double Dose channel. Always remember to go over to www.real doubledosechannel.com to see any updates. Any more things we got going on. Click those little three lines at the top, the three dots. I can't remember. And typically that's where we have more of the stuff going on. So you'll see stuff. If you want to see stuff, we got stuff. Alright. So go check that out. See what's going on. See what's cracking. But I hope y'all are doing amazing. And let's get into this conversation. Because we were actually having such a good conversation earlier. Uh, Lex and I. We were watching more like studying together in a kind of Bible study type of situation. And we were looking at a lot of different points. Even whenever it came to the understanding of faith and what we choose to and what not to believe. That was one of the conversations. The other one, of course, was a conversation that we've had before, and we had it on the True Seekers Mastermind Alliance. Honestly, I can't remember the name for it, but it was something about demons. It was something about the oh, the Living Waters. That's what it was. The Living Waters Part 1 and Part 2. That was such a good episode. I love that episode. Those are the type of comments that uh comments, uh, commentaries, whatever they're called. Uh, those are the type of episodes that are so, so interesting to speak about and those unique kind of revelations. Now, I do have to speak more about more generalized revelations that I've had because honestly, I don't go to church. You know, obviously, this this is kind of like our church. Okay, this is our unification, this is the communion that we have, but for me, I don't really speak too many people, and I don't go to church. Uh, I still go and give out the word whenever I can uh to random people, but I don't have a communionship with more people at the moment. I did uh from a few people here and there previously, but it always gets into a point where it kind of falls off. Right now, one of the most per people that I really had that strong, strong bond with, uh, he's still incarcerated. Hopefully, I get to talk to him soon. He's in the feds, but man, this young man gave up his life and it was just amazing. But the type of conversations that we would have were so enlightening. And I was telling him, I was encouraging them too. I'm like, hey, you gotta, you know, you gotta start teaching and preaching because uh uh your revelations are beyond those of newborn Christians, I'll call them. Newborn people in Christ. Like they they're they're advanced. You know, he spent four years in jail before I met him, and uh he should be like what 23 now? But he spent like four years in jail before I met him. He went in there whenever he was 18, 19, something like that. And he he's still been in there, and he's you know, he he's not looking at getting out soon. But if you listen to this bear, we're holding it down out here. Uh but he he was uh he's he's so on fire for God, such a balance of the life that came before, and being able to use that as a testimony, the humility that comes with this young man is just phenomenal. And that's the type of stuff that I love to see where you really make God like your entirety of your life in your conversation because that's really what it needs to be. We need to have it so embedded in our foundation that there is nothing else that we can speak about because we understand that that is our duty and our purpose. You know, even with Ecclesiastes, it said, for the duty of man is to serve God. That's our whole purpose in our whole life. Yes, we have our own unique individual purposes of the puzzle piece that we play in the will of God, but that is the standard, like that that is the foundation. So if you're not talking about God all the time, you need to check your foundation, check where you're at, because it's a showing that it's not deeply embedded and rooted within you as you may seem to believe. Now you can desire to believe you have faith like that, but desiring to believe a belief is not the same as believing the belief. Okay, so that being said, we also need to take God's word at face value. We need to be able to comprehend it of what it means and stop trying to come to different people and listen from different people's perspectives. And this is why I still come more so as a hey, it read, read the word because you have the key, you have the legend you have, the margin you have, the revelator within you that will give you the revelations that you need to have for your specific purpose. Okay, and one of the main things also is being in alignment with God, being in alignment and the renewing of your mind into those foundations that are Christ-filled and Christ-centered will allow you to determine the will of God that is placed for you in your life. Okay, I believe that's Romans 12, verse 2, if I'm not mistaken. So that's the first steps, that's the giving, but also understanding the principles that we need to have. And I was watching a I'll call him a mentor of mine. This is one of the only people I really listen to whenever it comes to people speaking about the word. And this one's a little different just because he speaks about the word, but he has a huge business all around and focused on, centered on faith. His name is Myron Golden. Awesome guy, awesome, awesome. We call him Uncle Mai, me and Lex call him Uncle Mai, like we know him. Uh, but we will know him. We do know him in Christ. So, but he speaks about business and he relates to even understanding the business that Solomon had, Solomon's business plan. That's one of the most foundational pieces of breakdown that I've seen for any type of business foundation ever. Him and Miles Monroe are like the only two people that I really listen to because they have such a honing in their perspective. So many pastors, they love to speak about every single conversation, they love to get around and try to touch every angle, which there's nothing wrong with that, but they don't have like a super niche that they are meant to fully steward. And maybe that is it. Maybe they're meant to be something where they touch on different conversations, where they go uh around that conversation. But Myron is one of those that teaches the identity and business aspects, of course, all with the foundation, the proper foundation. Miles Monroe, he also was someone that taught whenever it came to the principles of business, the understanding of the kingdom, and leadership. So, yes, it was also identity, but one of his main keys was leadership, understanding the will and purpose for your life. So they have such a, you know, a unique perspective. They're not your normal quote-unquote preachers or pastors, you know, and and that's that's that's really as far as it goes for me whenever it comes to learning. Everything else comes from God. I have not been able to communicate a lot with different pastors, different preachers, and there are quite a few that I personally disagree with, although that's just from something they have said that I've heard, maybe not understanding it, but just based off of that, I don't agree with it. So I could be completely wrong in not getting the breakdown of what they mean by it. However, I'm going on long tangent. I say that to say that Myron Golden, we're watching him, and he speaks about wealth in such a unique way that is not like prosperity pastors or preachers whatsoever. He speaks the true wealth of the kingdom of heaven. He speaks about how it was mentioned in Genesis eight times, how eight being the perfect number, how the first time, and how there's actually a law that they go based off of in, I believe it's in Hebrew, where it's called the law first. So the first time that something was mentioned in the Bible is what it is. So the first time you see God mentioned in the Bible, I think this the sign is Olaf. The word is Olaf. And its root word comes from Elohim. So Olaf means Elohim, and the sign, actually, the characters for Olaf, I think was Yod Tev Yad, or something like that, which is two hands and a nail, which I think is just super cool, right? The way that God already had that ordained and plan. Um, but to go further into it, everything has a first time being mentioned, and gold the first time it was mentioned, God said it was good. And he goes down this whole thing of the principles and where wealth was brought up, where it had its parts in the Bible, how Abraham was very rich, and to dissolute all doubts and all teachings of deception, to where people can't say, Oh, yeah, that's you know, uh spiritual wealth that he had, or spiritual richness that he had, or anything like that. He said he was very rich, and then it said the how said he had many cattle, sheep, goats, I believe, uh, silver, and gold. So it went into saying, yes, materialistic richness. And you can go into Proverbs, you have so many things. So understanding that wealth is where God needs us to be, where God wants us to be, and what he calls good because God is a God of abundance, is something that we truly have to believe. And I had the epiphany through seeing that that the fact and the reason, one of them, that we don't believe things that are quote unquote too good to be true, is for various things. Before I go into it, and then you know, to give you a little example, he's a he one of the examples he used was an AC, an A A C air conditioning is too good to be true, you know, but it's true, you know. But having that point of we have to be able to believe what God says is, we need to truly renew our mind and focus on that. Because the desire, once again, the desire to believe a belief is not the same as believing the belief. So our job is to take God's word at faith, face value. Because if you try to take man's word for it, we are liars. All of us are liars. We all have deceitful hearts, we believe in lies. Only God, only Christ was perfect, only perfect man. Meaning his heart was perfect. The foundations, right? That's what the heart is. The soul that he carried was in perfect alignment with God. Our hearts are deceitful. We are not perfect, and we still believe lies. I still believe lies. I don't know which one's all the way yet, but I know I still believe lies. So we have to take what God says at face value. And I realize that one of the reasons, there's multiple reasons. Sometimes they could just be ignorant, sometimes it's just not knowing, right? That ignorance of what the truth really is. Sometimes it comes from the belief of why would this happen to me? Sometimes it comes from the culture that is programmed in it because we see so many times and everywhere, because we grew up with and around people of the world, that if something is too good to be true, it's not gonna be true. So we believe so many lies. There's so many, even those things are lies. So what are the lies that you're believing? Because even whenever it comes to wealth, it it can just be given to you. Joseph just had it given to him because of who he served, the value of that he brought by serving God. Ain't that something? Ain't that amazing? Because that's what we do. We do this, we're out here serving God, and for that reason, he was put as the second most powerful man on earth at that time. Really, he was first more powerful. But based on the world, based on the people that he could command and the moves that he could make and send people to do certain things, he was the second most powerful in that aspect. But because he had God, he was the most powerful because combined with his position and combined with his faith, there was no one else more powerful. So just because of his position, all that was given to him, we have to take it at face value too. The blessings that God has in store for us. And look up the blessings. Look up what blessings, what promises do we have when it comes to health, when it comes to wealth, when it comes to vitality, when it comes to what we will receive, when it comes to promises that hold contingencies, right? There's there's certain ones where it says, okay, if you do this, you will get this. It became law whenever it was spoken by God, right? We call them promises, it's a covenant, but it became law. So if you meet the criteria, it can be real. And for a lot of it, the criteria is just believing it. And I challenge you to weigh it out and be honest with yourself, because this is how I came to the epiphany, is that the reason that we don't believe and take everything for face value is to make an excuse from those things that are too good to be true, is to make an excuse so that we have a somewhat excuse to not believe something that God had said. Now, let me break that down. There could be something that you don't believe is in accordance to God. There can be something that you don't believe or don't want to believe that God has said. Right? So if he was saying, hey, you know, kings shall not drink wine or liquor, they shall not drink any of that. And you're like, well, I'm not a king, you know. I shoo, that that really doesn't apply for me. Or people that go and they try to bypass old covenant laws, and they're like, oh, well, that's not for me. You know, I don't want to believe that. That one is past, that one is no longer Christ came, or even just that belief of Christ came and everything that we did is abolished, so we can kind of you know live a little freer now. These are beliefs that you choose to believe that are actually detrimenting you from reaching the true promises of God because you're holding on to something that's comfortable, holding on to something that you don't want to believe because you have not given it up and gave it up to God yet, therefore you cannot grasp the true promises and those things that we say are too good to be true, because there is no other reason you would be holding on to that. If you believe that these things were too good to be true, then you would let go of those things in the past, and vice versa. If you let go of those things in the past, it will give you room to believe those things that are too good to be true, and they're not too good to be true, because it is what is promised. We are prodigal children of the most high God. To Adam and Eve, he said, Everything you see, you can eat of freely. Everything you lay your eyes on, whatever it is, hey, it's all yours. So much abundance. Just those two words, right? Just those two words. Everything and freely. Everything is free. How I mean, if someone told me everything was free, that's abundance. That's like, wow, this guy's, you know, this guy got money, you know. If you went into a really expensive car dealership uh where they just sell luxury cars and they're like, hey, everything's free. We're over here thinking this guy's Mr. Beast or something. But it also shows you, wow, they got money. But if you say everything in the world is free because everything is God's, why don't we believe that? Why don't we believe that everything will work out for us? We choose what will and what won't. Sometimes God just allows us to test our faith or have our faith tested, not tempted, but have our faith tested to see where we will actually persevere and get out of that comfort bubble. Because just because it is God's will doesn't mean he's going to make it easy. The will of God is also in accordance, in accordance and meant to transform you. So he's not going to just give you all these things whoop-ty-daisy, whenever you don't have the financial literacy to steward it, whenever you don't have the mental capacity to believe that you can endure it, whether you have that doubt that you're like, hey, well, I don't think I want to do it. He still prepares us in so many beautiful and wonderful ways, and it's awesome to say the least. But it's all purpose, all work works, so work it. That is what we do need to understand. Whatsoever you do, it will be done. So of course, you gotta be in the righteousness and alignment of God, but that's what I want to leave you with is believing the belief. Believing the words that face value, right? So again, think about that. Where in your life, where in your soul, where in your heart, do you have those beliefs that one you are not wanting to believe, and two, holding back from grasping on to something that is lesser than because it's comfortable to you. I hope you have a blessed one. I love you all. We will see you on the flip side.
